At La Monita Studio, we create illustrations and everyday objects designed to last. The idea is not to produce more, but to produce better.

FSC-certified paper

The illustrations, bookmarks, and printed materials are printed on FSC-certified paper. This means the paper comes from responsibly managed forests.

Plastic-free packaging

All products are packaged without plastic.
We favour simple, recyclable solutions with the least possible impact.

Products designed to last

Our creations are not designed as disposable objects.
We choose strong materials and quality printing so that they will last you a long time.

Recycling & End of Life

• Paper is recyclable.
• Magnets are composite products (plastic + magnetic material) and cannot be recycled as is.
• The magnets from the bookmarks can be recycled with the metal if your waste disposal site accepts metal parts or ferrites (often under the heading “scrap metal”).
• Stickers are not recyclable on their own because of the adhesive, but can be recycled when stuck onto recyclable plastic, depending on local channels.

We encourage you to check the recycling guidelines in your municipality.

An evolving approach

We remain a small, independent organization.
We do our best at every stage — choice of materials, small-batch production, packaging — to limit our impact.
